<deleted> Red. You'd be gutted if that really happened. But how much paper talk we'll be having over the coming months will be staggering.

Just heard on BBC news that a bid of 750 million pounds has been launched by the Abu Dhabi United Group, to purchase Manchester United.

When interviewed,Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim said, "The bottom line is that we ARE now the biggest and richest club in the world.

We need a feeder club to enable us to move forward at good speed. The fact that Manchester United is in the same city as our great team, and the fact it has very few LOCAL fans, means it is a win win situation.

When asked about the future of Alex Ferguson, Dr Sulaiman went on to say " I am sure that we can find him a job as a director..............that is directing traffic outside our marvellous stadium.

A full update is expected at 1PM UK time

Not at all mate, I'd of been happy to see him go this summer for 50 to 80 mill, if youz wanna pay that much for him, on your way.

The fact remains though that United will not sell Ronnie to another English club and, the only reason he'll leave is cos he wants to play for Madrid which is why we'll sell him to Barcelona....! :D

United are not a selling club.

From skysports:-

Abu Dhabi United Group linked with bid

Abu Dhabi United Group, who recently completed the takeover of Manchester City, are ready to enter the bidding for Spanish side Real Mallorca - according to reports in Spain.

Reports from the Balearic-based press claim that representatives of the Abu Dhabi-based investment group had flown to the island for talks with the club - who are up for sale.

At the moment the club has three offers, two of which are from England in the shape of Paul Davidson - favourite to take charge - and former Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd.

Dietrich Mateschitz, the Austrian businessman who already owns Red Bull Salzburg, Red Bull New York and the Formula One racing teams Red Bull and Toro Rosso, is also a candidate to buy the club.

A decision on the bids is being made by a local judge on Mallorca, although a decision may be delayed if the Abu Dhabi United Group decide to mount a bid.
