30 day drug and gun Police crackdown around Chonburi Province begins.

In the ground of Banglamung Police Station, Police Colonel Oodom, Deputy Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police led a parade of officers from Pattaya, Banglamung, Sriracha and Laem Chabang Police Stations to announce a month-long drug and firearm crackdown around Chonburi Province. The Colonel explained that these types of crime are widespread throughout the Province and they must be controlled by local Police Stations as a matter of priority, following orders received from the National Police Chief, Police General Pacharavat. The officers were sent on their way to begin the clean-up operation and here in Pattaya, press conferences detailing such arrests will likely occur on a regular basis over the next 30 days.

Same same...a few times every year.

Guns/Weapons seem to be widespread now. That's a major concern. But the BiB to solve this problem? As long as they have to pay privately for ammunition and motocyc....they are just part of the system, and I don't blame them!

That's good news isn't it? In 30 days Chonburi Province should be clear of drugs and guns right? Then two weeks later we can all get back to square one again, sad very sad.

they must be running out of weapons, let's grab some too..
