Cable Tv

Featured Replies

Hi,

Am thinking of cable TV from Phuket town - I see they have BBC but it all hinges on whether I can get live footie, anybody know please?

Is True any good?

Cheers,

Jeff

hi Jeff, i have true visions UBC, its great for the British premier league, I have the gold package which covers most of the footy apart from 1 or 2 matches. I usually get about 5 or 6 games to choose from on a saturday night.

PC had live Premiership footy - but the way theu do it is to change one of the other channels over to the game, so you'll have t get used to flicking though the channels to find it. They use feed from Multichoice South Africa so ats all english commentary - save your money on overpriced (un)True Visions ... 350 Bt/month ... well worth it for cable!

The cable companies are not allowed to show live Premiership football. TrueVisions has the monopoly in Thailand (though there are some games on domestic free to air channels). It was shown on cable prior to the TrueVisions monopoly but not since the beginning of last season. So it's either TrueVisions or another expensive satellite service.

Being a Charlton fan it doesn't really matter anyway!
