I was reading a bit about Thailand censoring gambling websites, i was wondering if anyone knew if they censor www.betfair.com. I was thinking of staying in Thailand for some time and enjoy accessing this site.

The side seems to be hi-jacked or infected by a virus or hacker? :o

When searching for it I was guided to the friendly Royal Thai Police.

Did not bother to read what they have to say, main site in Thai, perhaps they invite you to place your bet there. :D

Have got an English site as well. Oh well.

No probs accessing it from Oz.

Have you tried getting to it via a proxy server?

I was checking if thailand had censored it, the australian tab lost their law suit against the company so its still accessible in aus.

Cheers all

What a bunch of wowsers! :o

I'm in Pattaya........accessed it no problem just now. I/m using T-Net on a T .T &T phone line
How strange !! I'm using the Hi-Net service from TOT with a TT&T telephone line.

I also had to use a proxy for Betfair when I was using Ji-Net as an ISP

The Hi-Net service does seem to block more sites ( but it's cheap ) recently they had a spate of blocking sites that listed proxy servers like
