Hi my boyfriend and I have just moved to Rawai. Looking for any hits tips and advance on how to build a social life here. Thanks

Probably be helpful if you give some info about you both, nationality, age, interests. Working or retired etc. Give folks a bit more info on which to advise you. :o

Yeah sorry that would help!!!!!

Moved from Scotland about 3 weeks ago. I'm 28 and Gary's 33. He works offshore so will be away for some of the time. I'm not working out here. Interested in going out, water sports, salas dancing, shopping (LOL).

Someone just popped the elderly stereotype of Rawai as per the other thread. :o

Check out Yoonique Bar over at Nai Harn lake.

Especially on weekends. It's behind the reggae bar.

yoonique's is a good place. the rawai art village and the rawai art gallery have some kind, creative folks making great art. the hen chef near the 7-11 where you turn off to the beach is a good place to eat. welcome to rawai. :o
