But...having been in the freezer, the soft ones would be hard ones! You must have teeth like iron. JAWS, 007 style. :o

No, when the soft ones are hard you need to apply a gentle sucking to release the goodness - it means they last longer!

i was at a bookshop yesterday...and there were so many cookbooks for ciocolata....mmmm

too bad....or perhaps good for my weight,.....they were all in italian! even the pics look delicious!

but yes...Ive been enjoying the delicattesen of italian cucina...including some amazing italiano dolce and ciocolata. (however you spell any of those words....)

just had a hot chocolate. its so good and ooooohhhhhh so rich....its almost a meal...well a dessert in itself. pics when i get home....if that ever happens :o

Im kinda back...and with lotssss of chocolates

have given the mandatory supply to colleagues, friends and even to the neighbours this time. the thing is...colleagues also decided to give me chocolates as gift for some reason :D:o

so now I have a collection that must be given away :D its a crime!!! but theres no way I can do anything else with them.......

gosh...I cringe at the thought of having to give away chocolates

i just had some special flavour milka one just now...and its ohhhhhhhhhh so good. Its called... Hutterntraume (s la Eierlikor-Punsch) need our german friends to translate.....but I know its some kind of liquer-based flavour...but its without alcohol version (yeh I know confusing aint it...but my guess is...its meant to be something like eggnog? but done ohne alkohol so us children and youngsters can enjoy it too) :D

EDIT to add link so you can see how tempting it looks.... I cant post pics. (Again!!) and the site says its punch...doesnt taste like punch though...much nicer!

Special for yoooouuuuu

(this link may only work on firefox, possibly not other browsers - if anybody's really interested, just go to a google Image search page and type in the two words: Kayo Chocolate

  • 4 weeks later...

bump!

came back to look for info on nice chocolate places to go to in Bangkok and realised that none was mentioned on this thread.

in fact apart from some tempting pics that have made me crave, not a lot of useful info on here was there :o

no one delivered on promises of chocolate offers

sighhhhh

Beware your product is not made in China

the not so funny thing is - with most products I think they would list ingredients, and where its made from, but it will not say where all ingredients are imported from!

for instance I have seen labels that say:

Made in Germany

Made in Brazil

or

Made in Australia from local and imported products

(doesnt say which ingredient is imported from where)

One of our researchers just came back from Europe and brought a large box of these with him. Just as I was downing the last piece, thought of MiG16. They were delicious by the way. :D

Yes, another MiG16 chocolate thread. :o

Very tasty I'm sure. We don't get Mig in bedders anymore, since she's gone up in the world he hangs out with the big knobs! :o

in the world he hangs out with the big knobs!

So, too much chocolate causes a sex change? Pretty cheap way to go about it. :D

<My apologies for being pedantic, occupational hazard> :o

Darn my typing skills. She'll be gunning for me now!

Promise her chocolate, Suegha, and you should be safe. :o

Good thinking sbk.

Hey Miggy, look what I have for your pleasure...

hahaha a thread dedicated to me and I missed it?

what a slacker!

had to take a close look at Tywais choc, as I didnt recognise it on first glance (very rare does that happen with european in particular german chocolates!), but looks like the inevitable has happened

I havent tried that nice looking choc from Bremen

Suegha - if that collection includes the Lindt Cherry Intense then you might have my attention for a short while, so that you can be granted an audience to offer your apoloGIES properly :o

what a narcissist :D

"Princess Feodora was the sister of the last German Empress who was very much impressed by the quality of the chocolate. As a result Feodora's personal signature became the Feodora brand logo. Located in the heart of Bremen, Feodora stands for all natural chocolate in a variety of shapes and sizes: bars, tablets, pastilles or mocha beans." :o

That post was made after midnight last night, I had typed it much earlier, I made several revisions, occasionally deleting everything and starting again, after a while I realised that the little devil inside me had to post something.... so I went back to what I typed first, closed one eye, winced, and hit the button.

Spiders legs ... never welcome in any way shape or form, not even chocolate ones, in some instances especially not chocolate ones.

(I've just thought of something, maybe Miggy doesn't know what spiders legs are ........)

sounds like I dont

and I have a feeling I need to remain ignorant :o

You wish to remain ignorant? Now that's very brave... :o

That must make me a lion instead of a wolf !!!!

oi

I dont care this is bedlam or whatever......

if theres to be one thread that HAS to remain on topic, it is THIS one!

by the way...someone offered me a piece of Irish chocolate today. was the first time I had Irish choc :D

was quite nice.... milk choc, with a nougat centre. I looked at the brand...but cant remember how to spell it. Would go back for a look, but she might think Im back to ask for more of it!

ok....I walked past and took a glance.... its called 'Lir'

(is that Irish for Liar? :o )
