Man shot dead as he waits for his Wife.

A story now from our broadcast colleagues in Sriracha District which is located 30kms outside of Pattaya. In the early hours of Friday Morning, Police Sub-Lieutenant Boondarik from Sriracha Police Station was called to the front of a Photo-processing Shop located in Soi 1 off the Sriracha Nakorn Road to investigate a fatal shooting. At the scene Police inspected the body of Khun Pakpoom aged 42. He was lying dead in front of the shop. A closer inspection revealed that he had been shot once in his head. We understand he was sitting in front of the shop and was waiting for his Wife to arrive when a man arrived and walked up to the victim and without saying a word, shot him in his head. Police have been told that last month the victim sacked a member of his staff but apart from that he had never encountered a problem with anyone in his business or personal life, according to his Wife. The investigation continues.

My condolences to the family and friends of the victim. Quite sad for the family. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who can't deal with losing face, if that's the case here. I hope the police catch the perpetrator.
