Tires For Toyota Fortuner

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I would need some recommendations. One of the worst thing to do when send a car to the mechanic is to be ripped off..

Hence this post.

I', due to replace my stock Fortuner tires soon, and would like your assistance to point me to the right shop that will offer me best price for them.

I'm looking at some AT tires, maybe like BF Goodrich or similar tires.

I'll do occasional off-road trips, and AT tires would be ideal.

265/75 R16 or +/- a size.

Any ideal shops in the south of Thailand near the Malaysia/Thai border would be great!

Oh, am also looking at the Bonnet Protectors, and doors side plastic panels. Any idea how much and where to get them?

Many thanks.

4,300 baht per piece.

Hi,

Thanks for the info, but What's 4300bht per piece? BF??

Also, where may I get them in southern Thai? Or are they all by RRP?>

Cheers,

Rei

4,300 baht per tyre. I'll ask my wife's driver as I will need 4 shortly also.

In 2005 when I changed my new Vigo's tires to BF A/T's they were Baht 7400/tire. That was also the listed price in the Thai off road magazine adverts. After checking several tire shops we bought them at Baht 7200/tire. I would be surprised to see them that cheap considering the price of oil went through the roof unless they lowered the import duties on the as they are USA made.

I'm still waiting to hear from wife's driver. He is on leave.

Ah that would explain the lower price then, I wonder if they make them in 18's for my Fortuner?

Don't take this the wrong way but have you ever thought about driving around Hatyai (it's not that big) and looking for a Toyota dealer yourself? You never know you might even see a tyre dealer on your travels.

Hi there,

thanks for sharing.

I live in Singapore but drives to Thailand regularly. Not too familiar with the area, hence the enquiries.

Hope that did not kill the curiosity.

Cheers
