Shop assistant escapes with her life following gang shootout in Soi Neun Pleub Wan.

In the early hours of Tuesday Morning, Police Lieutenant Choosak from Banglamung Police Station was called to the Poipet Market in Soi Neun Pleub Man to investigate the aftermath of a shooting. A total of three people were injured, including a Female 7-Eleven Shop Assistant, Khun Walaporn aged 22, who was caught in the crossfire while she was travelling to work. She was shot in her face, but luckily the wound was only superficial. According to witnesses, two rival gangs were involved in a physical altercation which soon turned into a gun fight. Two of the gang members were injured and taken to Hospital suffering from non life threatening gun shot wounds. Police are now searching for all the gang members at this time.

A sad indictment of the police in Pattaya. Too <deleted>' busy raking in tea money or hassling bar owners to actually do any proactive patrolling and crime prevention. How Mr Mayor can even pretend to try and make Pattaya a world class resort without firing up the BiB is just a joke.
