Pattaya Police Volunteer commits suicide in South Pattaya Beauty Salon.

On Monday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Supachai from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Prani Beauty Salon in South Pattaya following reports that a man had taken his own life at the location. At the scene, Police inspected the body of Khun Surasak aged 43, a local electrician who also worked with the Pattaya Police Volunteers. A loaded firearm was close-by and Khun Surasak appeared to have sustained a single shot to the side of his head. The wife of the dead man, Khun Sophon aged 43 was at the scene and explained that they had been together for 20 years and had two children. Recently the couple was experiencing relationship problems and Khun Sophon was reluctant to restart their relationship at this time. Moments after their verbal altercation at the Beauty Salon, Khun Surasak went to the back of the shop and a gunshot was heard. Khun Sophon rushed out to see her Husband lying dead on the floor. Police are currently investigating the case further to be sure this was indeed a suicide.

It's not just the farangs that are driven to desperation.

Please note - this was not my wife's salon, neither are the photos at http://pattayaone.net/news/2008/october/ne...8_10_51_2.shtml of my wife

My condolences to the family and friends of the victim.
