2025 SSA Form 7162 - "Hello, are you dead yet?" forms.
Yes - what you’ve said is true. I agree it could be for the reasons you’ve outlined and I agree that we may never find out. For me personally, I’m not prepared to hedge my bets that this is a delay. I agree it could be, but I’m not comfortable assuming that and not doing anything. I think the million dollar question is: Do we know of anyone in past years who has sent a completed 7162 — either downloaded or copy from prior year, that is NOT THE BARCODED VERSION GENERATED AND SENT BY SSA — and had confirmation that a SSA employee received it, processed it and manually updated the SS system to mark them as still alive. -

Thailand defrocks 6 senior monks as sex and blackmail scandal engulfs Buddhist clergy
Six senior monks in Thailand have been defrocked and several more implicated after a 35-year-old woman, nicknamed “Miss Golf” or “Sika Kor”, allegedly lured them into sexual relationships and blackmailed them—with authorities uncovering over 80,000 compromising images and substantial transfers of temple funds totaling millions of baht. The scandal has prompted police raids on major temples, sparked a nationwide investigation into monastic discipline and financial transparency, and led to calls for urgent legal reforms to protect the credibility of Buddhism in Thailand.- 1

Report Race Against Time: Bangkok May Be Below Sea Level by 2030
However you do need to look at the increase in intensity of storms with more energy within the climatic system, so what was useful in the past may not be useful in the future (this applies to Netherlands as well; although, I assume they have considered most of this already). Studies have to ascern the costs of moving vs the costs o staying in same place. It may not be viable for Bangkok to be the capital any long, this climatologists & quality engineers (not those paid to give politicians the answers they want). Many cities are endangered worldwide: Miami being one of the first that to go due to high above current sea-level, but by the time it is going under the timescale will be too short to start work on saving other cities.
