We are applying for my wife's visa in january and have just found out she does'nt have her birth certificate with us in England. My wife contacted her family but they were unable to get one.Has anyone been in a similar situation,or can anyone help please!!

A birth certificate is not required for any visa to Thailand that I know of.

Sorry, os your wife thai and she needs a birth certificate fromThailand? or is she another nationality and she needs a birth certificate to get into thailand?

It appears that she is a non Brit living in the UK on a Settlement Visa that expires in January.

If the OP is asking about applying for a Visa for Thailand she would not need a birth certificate.

If he is asking about her Visa in the UK he needs to be in the Other Countries Visa Forum.

Sorry to be a bit vague, my wife is Thai and we are applying for visa for England,but her birth certificate cannot be found back in her home town Buriram. My wife's family tried to get another one but were told no, as she is out the country i assume.Help.

It might help if your wife was to contact the Amphoe herself and explain the cituation and find out how she can get a copy. Using the pulldown menus near the top of the following website and selecting first the province and then the district she can get phone numbers and other info for the the Amphoe.
