They sometimes show f.a cup matches on thai terrestrial channels (Channel 3 - i think). they showed liverpools last round match.

There is probably more chance of seeing any football game in Pattaya then there is in England. Especially iof its Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal or Real Madrid

Plenty of bars will be showing the soccer......you may not get to see it live but will undoubtably get to see a replay or delayed telecast.

its a lot harder trying to get an Aussie Rules Game there.

The key words were......open 24 hours :o

You will not find Sky Sports here.

However there are several good sports channels on the satellite network here and one may carry the match you want to see.

Check the channels in your hotel as well.

well i hope they do steve, good luck in pattaya.

Closing times of 1am is for bars, or more specifically go-go bars. Restaurants, Guest Houses and Coffee Shops can and do stay open 24 hrs. And pretty much all sell beer so you don't have to go thirsty.

As for Aussie Rules, nor sure why gburns thinks it is hard to get. During the season ABC AP shows the friday night, saturday (sometimes 2 games) and sunday games. How much do you want? :o
