hi, as I will be getting my thai car driving license next week I was wondering if you are allowed to drive a small motorbike with it?

No, you will need a motorbike licence.

Can get at the same Land Transport Office as your car licence.

Just remember that whatever paperwork you have to bring (signed copies of passports and such), you have to make duplicates of everything for your bike license. it's literally a separate plastic card you have to carry. and don't forget your doctor's certificate (available only at a government hospital for 30 baht) which officially states that you have both breath and pulse. And unless you have a yellow baan book, you'll need a form from immigration proving you are who you say you might be...
