Anyways, surely forensics can tell how long the man has been dead - meaning if it was assisted decapitation and then placed on the bridge or he just jumped as you say.

I thought the same, although hard to tell for sure. I remember reading somewhere that hangmen have to calculate the length of the rope (and hence the fall) quite accurately to prevent decapitation when hanging. The heavier the body, the shorter the rope required. A 5m rope would be far too long and would likely lead to decapitation, and by some freak of circumstance, the head and Puma bag remained attached.
