The law firm Tilleke & Gibbins has made the above translation of the Order of the mmigration Bureau No. 305/2551 available regarding the documents required for extensions of stay.

It appears to be the guidelines issued by Immigration headquarters to the various immigration offices following the issuance of the new Police Order No. 777/2551 on 25 November 2008 regarding applications for extension of stay.

As far as 2.18(5+6) is concerned the translation is correct but it does not include the 400K deposit as stated in order 777/2551

Do the documents published in the OP replace the original 777/2551?

No. They go hand in hand with 777/2551

Let me clearify the document. It is a supplement to police order 777/2551, which states the criterea for an extension of stay.

This document, 305/2551, gives the documents you need to supply when you apply for an extension. Unfortunately it does seem a bit incomplete, as it doesn't mentioned for example the documents needed for the 400K in the bank under 2.18 (5)

The old police order gave the criteria and needed documents in 1, now it simply are 2 seperate documents.

PS Doing it in May. Last border run to Vietnam this weekend (was booked a long time ago). B400K went into the bank in mid January and after Vietnam, will apply 30 days before my next exit (ie start of June).

You do not need copies of your wife's passport. As for the certified bank letter it needs to be done within 48 hours of going to Immigration, sames goes for the passbook update as well. Unless you are going to immigration outside of Bangkok you only need one copy of everything and no copies of the TM7 form.

I just did mine and picked up my one year extension last week.
