Tourists Cancelling Flights Here?

Featured Replies

Had a customer yesterday claiming that many tourists had been cancelling flights to Samui as a result of the problems on the West Coast...? Anybody out there got friends who work for Bangkok Airways who can confirm/deny this??? The figure he mentioned seems a rather incredulous 70% - please tell me this a load of B.S.!!!!

Seems like BS..

I was there after the waves (left Patong 29 - 9th) and Samui was packed.. Rooms fully taken etc cause of all the people shifting from the west coast to the gulf.. i hear Pattaya is packed now also..

Perhaps there were many ignorant cancellations (thinking Samui was effected) directly on hearing the news and now that the bulk of people who were already out have gone home a lack of new arrivals is happening.. Possible but dubious IMO.
