i have to go on visa run for a 1 year non b multiple entry visa,im english and have a letter from my work. i was wondering has easy it was to get one in of these in phnom penh, before i went to laos and they only gave me a 3 month non b, which wasnt re-entry, although i did apply for one. has anyone had any problems in phnom penh getting a multiple entry visa? my other option is to goto singapore but i feel cambodia would be more interesting. thanks paul

I went to Singapore for my non-immigrant B visa (also with a letter from work etc.) and they also only gave me a 3 month visa which was not multiple entry. Their logic was that "if you are applying for a work permit then you will be able to get it extended anyway".

I have no current knowlege of the Embassy in Cambodia, but Singapore is said to be very very tough about issuance. See that your employer letter has a paragraph asking for a multi visa, citing your immediate need to travel often & extensively.

I came back from Phnom Penh two weeks ago and my buddy who went with me only got a single entry non-immigrant b visa. Asked for more entries, but was refused. (he did bring all the documents required with him)

thanks for yr replies, so it seems i cant get a 1 year re entry non b visa from either singapore or cambodia!!!! i will get the letter to say i need to make fequent trips abroad so hopefully this help, any other experiences would be most helpful, thanks paul

an extra thought so if these countries are ruled out for 1 year non b's. what about penang?????????

I have always abtained my visas through Singapore simply because of convenience and I can tell you it's just about impossible to get a multiple entry visa there. They simply ignore your request.
