I have no idea why, but the waste of such a talent has brought a tear to my eye ( and for once I am not joking ). :o

Yes, it's very, very sad. Just shows us how fragile a thread we have on life.

such an odd story too. She fell on the starter slopes, walked away from the fall ok then fell into a coma later on after saying she felt ill. Apart from the obvious devastation her family must feel to have her taken & so quickly there must also be so many unanswered questions regarding what exactly happened.

She leave 2 very young boys & a devoted husband. Such a waste.

"The official cause of death was an epidural hematoma. A hematoma is a collection of blood, and epidural in this case refers to the space between the skull and the dura, which is the thick covering of the brain." http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/20/health/20braincnd.html?em

Its really tragic. I feel so sad for her family.

It puts me in mind of the death of Mark Donohue, an American racing driver of the '60s and '70s. He had a prang during practice for the Austrian GP in 1975. He was walking around after the crash and appeared cogent. Next day he complained of a headache and then was taken to hospital (Graz, I think) where he died. A brain hemorrhage was what did for him.

Yup, that is what happened to Natasha as well.

RIP

I just hope the gutter press leave this family alone in their grief.

Must be such an awful way to lose someone you love. Not that there are any good ways but I think you get my drift. Something so minor then escalating into something so major; it must take your breath away.

Now I know this will not be popular, but the lady in question was a wonderful actress on both stage and screen and SHOULD have been an icon for her time.

Instead we have Jade Goody...........................

If ever there was an indication of how far that green and pleasant land has fallen....................

Equally as sad to friends and relatives, but to be held as an example of the nation's finest, well.....

Bullseye.

I think most of the public greif over Jade is (obviously) not her contribution to entertainment but rather that she was so very young (27 years old) & has left behind 2 very young sons. That & the speed with which she died. Young women aren't supposed to die from ovarian cancer but reports now state that by being so publiuc about her illness there has been an increase of young women going for check ups, over 20%, so somethign good at least has been gained from her death.

She was a reality tv personality who managed to extend her 15 minutes of fame & earn a living from it, she couldn't have been as stupid as she liked to make out :o
