Featured Replies

Hi.

I plan to move to Thailand by the end of the year.

I will not be working and will live there for the next  5-6 years.

What visa can i apply for in Thailand that will allow me to stay  on a ongoing basis.

Can i just do visa runs every 60 days  for a  tourist visa in Cambodia for the next 5-6 years?

PS: I will attempt to get a 60 day doible entry visa here in New York prior to my departure.

I presume you are American...what is your age and what sort of income or capital will you have ? :o

Rinrad's question is valid ....what currency ? In Thailand you need to be 50yrs plus to retire. You require 800,000 Th baht in a Thai bankto begin the process

Gentlemen.

In answer to your question, I am not retiring but rather a bit burned out and will take some (extended) time off. I do plan to return to the States and work until 62. My currency I stated is in USD.

Anyways my question  still - Can I live in Thailand  on a tourist visa running every 60 days to get a renewal? Would an immigration officer revoke my continuing request?
