Just passed today two of the shutters have for sale or rent on them and one has on open April 27th after renovations, theres also a hand written letter on the wall saying the owners of the building aren't responsible to Champaigne Charlies creditors

Yup, it's been closed for a while now. But i guess no one is really interested. The place was always empty hence the reason for closure.

Last time I was down it had just opened, must have been a very well thought out venture.

Doubt it, i live right behind the corner and the place was always deserted. Ever did i see a single customer there. Now it's possible that they had upstairs few hundred high roller members every night but again, doubt it...

Absolutely not. The owner is still here in Bangkok.I see him every week. I don't think this lost business will hurt him too much, though.
