I have bought a 2007 Vigo 3 litre , 4 door , 2 wheel drive....70,000km=570,000 baht.

At the age of almost 44, this is the best motor I have ever owned.

The last motor I owned was an ex british rail crew cab Leyland truck,,looked a pile of poo but did the job.

The motor is great(Vigo that is, not the Leyland),,I was really surprised how quick it is,,seeing that you are sat so high up,the speed kind of takes you by surprise.

The interior is spot on, although the dash looks like a Datsun sunny (remember them.I toured the UK in one, in 1993 ,,60 pounds it was,,MOT write off).

Anyway ,,I,m as happy as Larry with the motor.......what a great vehicle.

Most exclusive motor I owned was a Kit Car..it was called a Karma :o

It looked like a Ferrari Dino but was a VW beetle with a Variant engine in it( 50 quid to the first person at the next TV do who can tell me what size and layout of the motor is),,,I used to get overtaken by mark 2 Escorts,,...........................(bugger).

I,ve had loads of great bikes though,, I used to club race a Suzuki GS 1000 and an X7.......oh God I feel old now!

You are right, I use to drive a VIGO 2 door 2 wheel drive which maybe even less weight than yours, but his 163 HP and torque are impressive.

I like it very much. What I do not like is that that model runs uon small thin alloys and tyres.

They sometime get noisy in corners without a lot of speed and they give you in fast curves not a satisfying feeling.

I Testdrives the same engine in the heavy big 4x4 4 door VIGO and there the engine lost a lot of his fun.

I have a 2 door 4x4 smart cab for 3 day's now! And I am very happy with it and I am also impresed by the torque!

And the corner handeling! It's a pickup truck don't forget that.
