:o but it's reminiscent of an shot that would be taken by an estate agent.

For some reason I seem to keep focussing on the right hand gatepost. It doesn't seem to tell any story although presumably it is the architecture of the small buiding in the left background that is important. Sorry but that is how I see it but it cold be just me.

whats all this "SORRY" stuff all about, why do you all have to be sorrry for expressing your view.......??

is this not a forum...... very strange

and why should you think it will cause offence

there there thats ok you should check out the american architectural digest where there are some nice real estate pics

harry is correct, the right hand gatepost dominates the picture and the gates themselves do nothing for the overall effect. Possibly would have been better if you'd got closer in and cut the gates and posts out but tried to retain some of the trees as framing. But even then, from what I see, the buildings themselves have little to say of interest.

I am curious as to what the photographer finds appealing in this picture, or even what he felt was the subject.

Alright then: the photo is utter sh*te, the wall, gates, and plant all distract from the building.

You asked for it :o:D:D
