Bell Travel Service Bus to Pattaya

Bell Travel Service run a bus service between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Pattaya. They also service Bangkok and Don Muang Airport (the old airport.) Here is the information between the airport and Pattaya.

You will need to reserve your seat in advance. They like to have at least seven days notice, if possible. Their staff will wait for you on the first level near door number 7 which is near the Tourist Police counter. Look for someone with a sign reading 'Bell Travel Service.' The bus will be located nearby.

Busses from the airport leave at 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00.

The fare is 200 Baht and includes transport to your hotel in Pattaya. The fare is paid as you board the bus.

Return times are 6:00, 9:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:00.

The return is also 200 Baht and includes being picked up from your hotel.

You do not need to book in advance.

Turn up at the airport - level 1, gate 7 (well actually just between gates 7 and 8) on the INSIDE not outside on the forecourt and give your name to the guy with the clipboard standing (or sleeping) next to the small sign which says Bell Travel Service.

If you walk 20 metres further up to gate 8, there is another service to Pattaya (labelled as a "Government Bus') but is actually a nice (yellow) airconditioned bus which is only 106 baht (as opposed to Bell's 200 baht). There are only 4 buses a day though so you might not be lucky with your times. They are something like 0646, 0915, 1315, 1715

Considering how many people want to go to pattaya from the airport - the directions and information for public transport is lousy - unless you want a 1400 baht taxi - where the choice is endless :o

Plus, I might mention, if you go to the bloke with the clipboard next to the Bell travel sign, and tell him which hotel/apartment you are staying at, once the main bus terminates at North Pattaya Bus Station, you can join a minibus to your final destination (inclusive in 200 baht fare). Good value.
