My dear well-wishers, I'm so sorry to have missed this; you must think I'm insufferably rude.

Thinking back to that time, I'd just informed my college that I was moving on (sadly) and the day before, had been told that I was going to be a dad again. So I'm afraid that Bedders dropped down the list a few places for a day or so and when I "came-to", I'd forgotten all about my birthday. As indeed, did my missus on the day... :D

Anyway, many thanks and I'm raising a glass in your collective direction in a somewhat belated salute. :)
