When some of you say you are "American" I guess you mean American Indian?

I'm a Dutch American and a USA Citizen and after just finishing the book by George Friedman,

"The Next 100 Years" I'll go with being a American Citizen again, and choose being Danish I guess. Not sure why Danish but like the folks a lot.

No

I don't know, does the fact that one's ancestors have been in America for over 350 years count towards being "american"? is there a time limit?

Maybe, 350 years is a long time. Some times when I am out traveling, people ask where I am from I say the USA, then I ask where they are from..."America" They say,I look at them and say where, Mexico or Brazil or Canada? "No America" oh ok :)

Oh, that tired old PC canard. Brazil, Mexico, and Canada have proper names. America means the USA unless you are referring to North America , South America, Central America or the Americas. Nobody is really confused about this, even South Americans.

Here, here. The PC dummies ( I am not refering to sendbaht, but speaking in general terms ) do not seem to get that "America" is included in the name of our country, and just a way to shorten it. It is quite logical.

This is for fun.

Assuming reincarnation is real, and mostly assuming you want to be a human again, what country would you like to be born in next time? Same one as now, Thailand, someplace else. Sorry, only 20 choices, nothing personal if your choice/currrent nationality not included.

this has been really fun reading all the goofy rants on here... all us are probably going to come back as Soi dogs in our next life anyway... which might be fun.... :)

Yea Right on, have you seen the size of the nuts on some of them ?

350 years ago there was no USA .....

Of course there was an America, it was 1659 350 years ago, the dutch had just sold New Amsterdam ( NY ) for the price of a good night out plus bar fine in a Thai go go bar,

the 1st original Italian Pizza place had opened on Columbus landing beach in 1492 & was expanding eastwards,

the British were happily taxing everything that moved plus a lot that dident & mistakenly thought that no one would object.

America had a really advanced culture by then & had already invented the 1st hamburger to go with their family entertainment saturday night witch burning trials & shows,

plus in rural areas visiting town wearing a dead Beaver on your head was all the rage & that was in 1659 when your ancesters arrived !

I had to laugh at all the Americans wanting to be French.. That's very funny to an English guy..

As posibly the only people that annoy the English more than the stereotypical 'loud yank' is the snobby, 'poe faced frog' :)

No offence to any Americans.. I know you aren't all like 'foghorn leghorn'

The problem is when you bloody rosbif (roast beef*) get enough money, you can't wait but to cross the channel and move to the south of France. Jealousy, it's what it is, jealousy!

* : http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_does_un_rosbif_mean

Hey all you jealous Brits, stop getting at the French they are great people, just because the Normans kicked you off your land & raped the women back in 1066 you always have to bad mouth them.

Now be fair & look what Frances biggest contribution & freely shared with the world has been since, those wonderfull packs of multi coloured & flavoured french letters, without which a night out here would be a no no, so be nice hey !

Bros ( 1/4 french, 1/4 Irish & 1/2 witted brit.

Wont that look kinda strange with a hairy chest ?

Bros

Indeed, it would. If I had hair on my chest. :)

OK, I chose France, because I love good food, good wine, long holidays, good health care, dogs in restaurants (as guests, not as the main course), and Moroccan guys.

And not taking a shower? :)

Mais oui, a man should smell like a man, especially in Bora Bora.

It depends on when I died an when I could come back. America if a Woman, UAE or Kuwait if a Man.
