Accommodation Near Wong Wian Yai/tha Phra

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I've been living in Bangkok for a year now and read this forum, but this is my first post. Does anyone know of some good studio apartments in this area. I'm hoping to find one that costs less than 10,000 a month inclusive of internet and basic gym facilities.

Cheers

Hi there

5-6 years ago I stayed at a great condominium called "Sathorn Place".

I paid 10,000 B - and had the view of Bangkok skyline on the oppposite side of the river, I really miss it. You will not regret to take a look at the condo's facing the river first - the others might have a view to the next building or towards Thra Phra area.

I had to huge bedrooms, with bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a balcony. 3 AC.

There is a great swimmingpool. Fitness - I can't say, maybe there is something - or in the NEW builing (which was not there 5-6 years ago), maybe take a look at it as well !

Where is Sathorn Place?

On Thanon Krung Thonburi - near Soi 3 - next to SINN SATHORN TOWER, the on on your left side if you go towards Saphan Taksin.

On the corner of the soi there is (was?) a 7 - 11. It doesn't have a soi number, but it is between the 7-11 and Sinn Sahorn Tower that you would have to enter, and then Sathorn Place - would be at the end of this "mini"-soi.

You might have to ask them many times to get the keys - and if there are any more to available rooms - they can be quite lazy to show around.
