hi guys, just few problems l'm wondering what to do, hopin to get some answers;

firstly; the registration of my car here in thailand expires in July, but l am flying out of Thailand early June for 3 months, so my car rego will expire while l'm out of the country, so can l renew my car rego a month or so before it expires? if l can, will l lose the month or will the next year start from when it expires in July, even though l have renewed it well before?

secondly; l have read here about how to get an international driving license, so, do l still have to present a residency certificate when applying, when my 5 year Thailand car & motorbike licenses both have printed on the back my address in thai script? Also, can l get an international driving license for car & motorbike in 1, or must l apply for each seperatly?

Firstly, yes you can pay road tax and insurance 3 months before expire.

And yes you either need a residency certificate from Immigration, or your Embassy, and be careful in Thailand in obtaining a IDP. It's called an International drivers Permit and you need a valid drivers license from your home country.
