Hello... Just wondering if there are any people out there in Phuket who want to meet up to play ultimate Frisbee.. I have previously tried to set up games but haven't had enough interest to get regular games going... Please send me a message if you are interested, we would also need a place to play if you know anywhere centralish..

A place to play is one of the problems.  Beaches now have lost their sand, although on low tide afternoons if you had shoes you could play and not hurt yourself.  Finding a nice open flat grassy field will be tough, unless you wanted to rent a field from an international school. Somehow I don't think there would be more than a handful of players regularly that play here.

I see lots of basic plastic ones but a good quality one with real balanced weighting flys so much better..

i would play....There is a nice grassy spot in Nai Harn, near the Ragae? bar/ Younique bar. it is near the big man made lake by the beach...do you know where this is Steelepulse?

I believe I do know the place.  Is it an actual level grass field, or is it an ankle waiting to be sprained or broken due to uneven terrain with lots of divots?

How about the big field up near the windmill?

They've been having some tournaments up there so the grass is cut.

I might be interested. I used to play 12-15 years ago but it's been a long time and it's <deleted> hot to be running full speed for an hour or two.

I had to buy mine over the internet.. You can buy them through the Soi dawgs in Bangkok I think... nowhere I know of in Phuket though

Yes, I know this spot before we had UF games there it was a good spot, it is used to play football on too so I don't think there is any real worry of broken legs, etc... Even on a perfectly flat surface there is still the danger of broken limbs but that comes with sport in general I think...
