Jingthing Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 OK, I drink the cheap bottled Thai stuff available at 7-11 quite regularly, but I don't think very much of it. So occasionally I treat myself to a pint of draft Guinness or Kilkenny and I like them very much. However, the best beers I have had in my life have been draft Urquell and Budvar in the Czech Republic, some Belgian beer in Amsterdam (don't remember the name), draft German beer in Germany when I was a kid (different brands), and some microbrewery beers in the west coast of the US (believe it or not). Of course Guinness is very distinctive and in a class by it itself. Anyway, I would like to try out some of the German draft beers available at German restos in Thailand. What are the most common brands available, which do you prefer, and what would a typical price be for a pint? Also, do they sell by the pint? Cheers!
lazygourmet Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 What happened to "Klosters"? They used to sell them draft, as well.
