can anyone recommend a good (cheep) building material supplier in surat thani or better yet, donsak by the seatran port.

i need concrete, steel, wood, all the usual stuff.

Hi Steve, there is a big shop just out of Don Sak, near that tuna canning factory (just past it, across the road). Not sure if it is still there, but worth a look. They had wood and cement altho hubby says the prices there aren't good, much better prices in Surat Thani. Just past the Big C on the main road on the right hand side going into town is a big building supply store, it has stainless and plastic water tanks out in front. Right where the road curves a bit and there is a small one-way coming out onto the main road. Give me a ring if you need better directions!
