Illegal Petrol seller arrested and thousands of liters of petrol seized

At these times when the price of petrol is rising and is set to continue to rise, the distribution and sale of petrol which has been imported or stored during times of lower prices occurs, and it is the responsibility of the Police to locate and seize the illegal petrol. On Thursday Afternoon, Police Major General Chert, the Deputy Commander of the Illegal Petroleum Suppression Center based in Bangkok conducted a raid of a house located in Soi Banglamung 7 in Banglamung sub-district following a tip-off that illegal petrol was being stored at the location. The house is owned by Khun Paitoon aged 53 who was in at the time of the raid. Two petrol tankers, 107,000 Liters of B5 Bio-diesel, 11,600 Liters of Gasohol 95, 33,000 Liters of Benzine 91, and 26,600 Liters of Hydrocarbon Solvents used as industrial cleaning agents were seized. Khun Paitoon was placed under arrest for possession of untaxed and illegally imported petrol and the unsafe storage of flammable liquids

Hope they throw the book at him, just imagine the damage and possible loss of life it that lot went up.

That is a serious amount of fuel, including 2 tankers. Anyone want to guess which "petrol stations" he delivered to?

The really disturbing issue is the un-specified hydrocarbon/solvents (which are far cheaper than regular petroleum products), obviously being used to cut the benzine or gasohol fuels before distribution.
