Paying Utilitiy Bills By Direct Debit

Hi everyone still haveing some major problems paying my water and electricity bills by direct debit with jkasikorn bank. I am in the UK at the moment so cant get into my local bank branch in LOS back in LOS in 5 weeks! If money comes out of your bank to pay a bill in the middle of the month which is when i am told utility bills arrive does that payment refer to the last month? ie 3400 baht taken from my account on 12 feb is that for a bill from 1st to 31st jan or 12thjan to 12th feb. As the bank dont put where the money has been paid to on your bank statement and i have not revived an electric bill for about 11 months dont know whats being paid?

Also would they lump say your electric and water bill together and take out one amount from your bank or are these normally shown as seperate payments. Really worried my water bill is not being paid and cant check ita t the mo any one got any advice or answers please, Thanks

Just got my water bill (Banglamung) dated the 12th always roughly the say time every month...........electric lands by post about the 22nd with reading date about 18th of month. I cant see how your bank can lump them together and pay them to be honest. What would worry me more is that your house is empty i seem to remember so there is no way you should be getting 3k+ bills...........unless of course your friendly neighbours are syphoning (sp?) it off! .......sorry cant be more helpful.

Thanks for taking the time to reply do you think the bill you got on the 12th of feb refers to water used from 1st to 31st jan or 12 jan to 12th of feb? Have a feeling that 3k taken out was for electricity bill as we were at the house for the 1st week of Jan that could make sense if that was jans bill comming out in feb

Got the bill in front of me now...........its got no indication of what date it applies to......all it has is the date it was read and the period you have in which to pay at 7/11 etc....in my case 13/2-19/2 after which date you have to trek out to the office to pay.My bill this month for 2 of us (no garden) was 200 baht. 3k electric is on the high side for just one week......mine for the whole month ( 1 aircon on virtually permernant) and another during night is never more than 3k..........something is amiss somewhere with your bills.
