Playing Golf In Pattaya For Newbie

Hi Guys,

I'm gonna start to play golf in Pattaya. First of all, I have never played golf before. Just wanna know where you guys normally go to play golf in Pattaya and where I should go to get golf lesson.

hi peepay, its best to go to the pattaya sports club which is located just behing the driving range on 3rd road, near pattaya nua, if you get a membeship there, i think its around 700 baht for new member then you can get discounts at most courses in pattaya and chonburi, however you being thai you might get the prices a bit cheaper than us farang anyway. They also have a price sheet in there with all the courses, disconts prices and phone numbers. There are many farang groups that have regular golf days that run out of pattaya if you would like to join them.

Most of the driving ranges in pattaya will have a golf teacher there, there are a few driving ranges around pattaya so just find them and you will find someone to teach you, most have thai teachers also who will charge less than the farang teachers. Also some of the courses in chonburi that have driving ranges also have teachers. How long have you been playing? what skill level are you? do you only want to take lessons in pattaya?
