Any suggestions on bringing new members in? Perhaps nominated names and a vote on whether they should be in or not from members here?

Perhaps everybody should make an effort to make post a topic everyday they are on here until things get a bit more livened up?

we're looking in to adding other users with a high post count. so this place is like specially for the longstanding members. don't know if it's technically feasable, so if more long standing members arrive , it's working

Don't know if the high post count means a long term member, I have been a member since 2003, and my post count is really low.

Why not just take it from date they joined if you want the long standing members?

Seriously, do you really need sponsers for this site? I see barladies is sponsoring now, and even changed their colours today, I suppose not to look affiliated with this one.

I'm not offering, just surprised that a site with this much traffic cannot finance itself, you have the ads and hotel affliate thing going already.

If you don't mind answering, or could anyone hazard a guess at how much this site costs to run every month?

I know a lot of people think a website costs nothing, domain name, hosting and all finished but with a lot of traffic you end up paying a load for bandwith.
