Try Carrefour ON-NUT.

They have basic cheaper weight training items upstairs.

They have a really nice one in carrefour for about 7,000 baht. Looks quite robust for the price :)

Gymware (www.gymware.com) is the best place to go. Ask for the owner called "Shaggy". He's an ex Body Builder and still in a great shape. Shaggy has a small shop and makes all the equipment himself, featuring a home line and a pro line. I bought my entire home gym there for 50K Baht. The bench you're looking for (adjustable, decline), including Olympic barbell and plates 40 kgs goes for about 16K Baht.

Thanks for all your answers.ver helpfull...i will go for carrefour first because the price, but gymware also makes a good impression!

regards!

Jackies fitness near pinklao is good too and cheap bought many stuff there. I think what you are looking for will go for around 12.000 baht. If you need any help just give me a pm, im a gym rat with my own small gym at home. I know what is good.

Could also try The Mall at Ngam Wong Wan. Is a bit of the way out of town, but they've got a range your el-cheapo 5,000 baht job where the weights are secured by a screw (annoying if working on pyramids) to a 14,000 baht adjustable one complete with a range of weights.
