Commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau inspects the work of the Tourist Police based on Walking Street.

On Wednesday Night, Police Lieutenant General Tangai, the Commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau based in Bangkok came to Walking Street to inspect the work of the Tourist Police and ensure that safety levels for Tourists and others who frequent the South Pattaya area are at a high level. He was welcomed by Police Colonel Grit, the Superintendent of Tourist Police Region 2 and Police Lieutenant Colonel Suwan, the Inspector-in-charge of the Pattaya Tourist Police. The General was informed of the hard work undertaken by the Tourist Police and he offered special thanks to the Thai Tourist Police Volunteers and Foreign Tourist Police Assistants and urged them to continue assisting the Tourist Police in their duties. Overall, the General was pleased with what he saw and he will now report back to the Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police who requested the inspection.
