Dolphin Lagoon Under Construction

Featured Replies

On the way back from town this morning on the back roads between Hui Yai and Phoenix saw a great swath of cleared land just behind the Pattaya Airpark on the north side of Phoenix Golf club Road that proclaims they are going to build a dolphin park, lagoon, they have already started construction of a huge lake and some buildings.

That's a new one on me, had not heard anything of this project anywhere.

I have no idea how the tiny roads in that area will be able to cope with the tour buses if the success of the Floating Market Is anything to go by.

Rimmer, a few years ago i have heard that Pattaya is going to have a BIG BIG water park. just same same like in Bangkok.

But i have never thought that they are going to do this project.

Pattaya Floatingmarket dose has got a Big parking space, the problem is that the Big busses can not go through the private road but have to go to the back side of the market.

Not all Tour Groups know this parking space.

Aparently it is some Aquarium/Marine type of thing, i believe being relocated from an existing business in Kanchanaburi.

You certainly were on the back roads Rimmer if you passed this one!! :)
