I am looking at staying at the Chiang Mai Lodge just off of Huay kaw Road across from the Shell gas station until I find a house.

I am the only person who plans to live there and I shower twice a day but I think they charge a higher price than most for their water usage every month. Could anyone living there or who has lived there tell me an aprox. water bill they pay monthly.

Also is it a quiet place with good internet and are there any other drawbacks to living there?

I shouldn't reply since I have no answers but the coffee makes me do it.

1st (ignoring rates): what kind of showers do you take that your water usage from showering would make any appreciable difference in what they charge you for water? The bathroom(s) only have the old dip and splash tank and they charge you each time they fill it?

2nd: you will be the only person in the place so you expect to get stuck with the water bill for the entire lodge?

3rd: With what seems like serious reservations (pun intended), why have you selected this establishment? You didn't explain the hows/whys/specifics and I do not know this lodge, so it is impossible to recommend a cheaper, better place where the weekly/monthly rate includes all utilities and free internent.
