Phone, Internet And Tv Service

Featured Replies

In the past I had a rent house 14 km S. of Chiang Rai with ToT phone services to the main house, no line in my smaller house. KVC set up a Linksys wireless system in both places. Internet service was complete, my dish was installed and my Dream box was connected to the Linksys for the TV. Problem was, service was off more than on and the owner blamed it on ToT and the poor service due to the distance from town.

I'm now moving into a house near the old airport. It's on a month to month basis as they are trying to sell. They have a UBC dish installed (no current service) and converter box they will leave, but no phone line installed.

TT & T at Big C wants quite a bit for their installation, a one year agreemant and big penalties for a cancellation prior to one year.

ToT is a lot less, wants the same 1 year contract but a lot less for early cancellation.

KVC will set up an access point for about 1500B and I'm assuming that from there I can get my dish conneced.

I need relativly fast, reliable service.

I expect to be there less than 1 year as they are actively trying to sell the house.

Any thoughts or suggestions on the best way to procede would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
