Cambodian Border Parking

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any recent experience parking a car for a week or two anywhere along the Thai-Cambo border? I've used the parking lot at Khlong Lek, which seemed secure but cost quite a bit -- was it B200/day? I've crossed at Baan Phak Kaat-Pailin but don't recall any parking or anything else there. And I'm sure there must be plenty of parking at the Aran-Poipet border, but have never used it. Any info appreciated, thanks . . . .

I used the Long Kue (Aran border market) car parks a lot.

No problem.

Price: I don't remember but it should be reasonable.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

ThaiVisa, it's also in French

Used it last week, car park is 150baht per day even if parked only for an hour, more like per entry

Thanks -- I suppose B1000+ per week is pretty reasonable, as long as there's a good chance your car is still there when you come back!

At the Aran-Poipet border I parked in the casino car park and gave the guard 200 baht, for two days he was happy and made sure my pick up was under the shade.

If I was going for longer I don't think i would risk leaving my car, just get the train or a bus to the border.

PS just asked the wife and she laughed and said you not want pick up anymore, lol
