I wanted to live in a Hughes film when I was a kid. They all had nice houses and cool schools. I was in the percentage of white kids in America who were dirt poor living in the hoods of cities. So, Hughes movies for me were little rays of hope that told me if I could just move to the suburbs of Chicago I could dress like Ferris and all would be well.

Dreaming, that is what Hollywood is for. He'll be missed. R.I.P.
