I think that I should close both of them (again) and then only the mods and admin will be able to open them, update and then close the threads. That way we retain our heritage of taking the last word in what may appear to be a random manner.

Ahh, yes Moss was a Munster flanker and part of the great side that beat the All Blacks in'78, a little before my time, as I followed the backs much more in that era, I know just a little more even now.

Just for everyone's information the threads "The Last Word" and "Random Posts" belong here in Bedlam. AFAIK there are no plans to move ior dare I say it close the threads. They suit the perculiarities of this subforum and would not work the same way in any of the general subforums including Pub.

You're not missing anything Jeff, I fell foul of doing something that irritates me when other posters do it....... using twenty words when a couple would have done the job.

We had a bit of a situation in the bar last night and it knocked me sideways a little bit, mentally not physically, my apologies if you took my post the wrong way, it was meant to be a compliment, but on reading it again, I think I fcuked up.

We can waste time on other things that are fun, easily.

However, bars are THE place to get knocked sideways, especially mentally. What I like best about bars is that when I leave, I feel much better about

myself, so they serve more than 2 purposes.
