hello everyone,i have a friend that is thai.she came home to visit and both her children got sick.she is from the khon kaen area.she will be visiting for 6 months.her mother asked me if the english consulate or embassey could help if they get sick again.the thai.government would not help because they are english citizens[england].is there a british consulate in khon kaen and could they help if they get sick again.thanks for your help .buffaloe

If the mother is a Thai national, than so are the children.

I doubt the embassy will help, other than assisting in getting money transfered from family in the UK to Thailand. people have to get their own insurence.
