New passport

Some good news at last. I just had my non-imm B transferred to a new passport. (Not washed, just full) My re-entry permit (multiple) in the old pp was (is) valid until mid 2004.

Asked for and got it transferred free of charge.

So at least here was a change, saved Baht 3900 for a new one.

Some addition on the subject of changing to a new pp.

I do this for 10 years nearly every 1-2 years. First time ever, was asked yesterday to "come back tomorrow".

Understand that the officers at least in BKK, in charge for transfers, are a bit more busy than before.

  I think they are very busy doing the same thing for lots of other people who lost or damaged their little books. Lucky for you it is only a one day wait.
