Somebody was asking about a school in Chiang Mai that's advertising for teachers at under 20,000 baht per month. "New York International School." I thought we had a list of so-called internat'l schools here. Did it disappear? Did I hallucinate?

PB that's not an international school, it's just a regular language school. The ad's on ajarn.com, right? Can people actually live on 20000 baht a month?

No, they cannot survive on 20K and the ad itself doesn't state a salary - it could be 17K or 8K or 29K. I think ajarn.com should have rejected the ad for lack of information, as they often do. Someone has sent them an e-mail asking for more info; I'll bet the e-mail doesn't get a response.

I thought the list had been attached to the top of this forum; I guess not.
