Yellow Tabien Baan

Recommended Posts

Does anybody knows what is a yellow tabien baan ?

I stay in Thailand on a 1-year O-type visa and just bought a condo in Pattaya.

I was given a blue Tabien Baan by the local registration office , but my name was not included as I was told that I should be a permanent resident first before I could get that done.

There are rumors about a yellow kind of Tabien Baan that can be issued to foreigners with the foreigners' name on it.The Pattaya office is not giving any info on that. Does it really exist ? How can you get it ? Where from? What is it called in Thai ? There was a reference on it in a past topic but there was no real conclusion.

Many thanks

Yes, the blue tabien baan is for Thai citizens and Permanent residents; the yellow one is for foreigners. You can get your name put on it by taking copies of your condo title deed and purchase agreement to your local district office (samnakngarn khet).
