Not 100% sure but it looks like some sort of crop irrigation reservoir unless its a megasized Olympic swimming pool we've yet to hear about

I have bought the home near this water, do you think it's a problem ? Health, noisy, etc ? Was very quiet when i visited.

Maybe they extract some stones from the mountain ?

It's been awhile but I drove around the area 2 years ago sightseeing with my GF. There is a large sign in Thai that identified it, but I can't remember what it said. Both are reservoirs for farming, water didn't look that clean. Lots of cattle in the area if I remember correctly. Seemed to me to be magnet for mosquitoes too.

As an after thought I have ground level photos of the area, but they are on another computer not yet accessible.

from memory its a settling pool of some sort,,may or may not be harmful depends what they are using the water to clean/cool/

best check it out with the Amphur.
