New Immigration Offices

Featured Replies

I have heard the new Imm offices would be opening in Phitsanulok and Nakhon Sawan by the end of September. Anyone have any information.

Have you tried a phone call to immigration to ask the question.

Yes, but I got off my backside and asked my wife to phone, you can see the lastest info. at http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Immigration-...44#entry3056144

PS - if you want info on Nakon Sawan make a phone call. 0540711913

Just back from Nan immigration after extending my stay in Thailand, everything was as smooth as silk - from arrival to walking out the door - 35 minutes including a re-entry.

For those who haven't been to the Nan office - it is very easy to find . Coming from the south on road 101, just before entering the town proper turn left onto 1091 marked and signposted to Phayao - this is thanon Suriyaphong and a 2 way street - after 100 metres or so it becomes a 4 lane road - the office is on the right just after the road splits - you need to U-turn at the FIRST u-turn gap - look carefully for the office which is signposted now on your left but just before the end of the 4 lanes.

Asked about Phitsanulok office opening - no good news other than a vague "next year".

Doctor certificate needed - if all paper work is in order - it all happens just like magic before your eyes.

Have you ever called them? I have, if you did get an answer they probably would have to ask three other people first!

Is the marker on this map still showing the correct location?

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

The above link shows the office in the correct location - however the map shows what looks like a U-turn slot but it isn't there in real life, the first U turn slot is past the office - so first U turn slot once the dual road starts and back to where you came from.

If you go to Google world - Nan - and navigate to the area, the office is marked and has a photo.
