Which Beach Hut In Cha Am?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'll be going to Cha am in 2 weeks. :)

I am considering 2 options:

1. I'd like to stay in a nice beach hut near the beach. I quite like it to be located in a quiet/secluded area, so it can be several miles outside of Cha am.

Hot water and aircon is a nescessity...

or

2. A nice modern Condo near Cha am town centre.

Can anyone with experience advise of good beach huts and/or Condo's.

BTW, I don't want to pay more than 1000baht per night, in my view I should be getting something dam_n good for 700p/n.

Your comments are much appreciated.

Cha-am dosnt really have beach huts, accomodation is hotels and condos on the opposite side of the beach road. You can get beachfront condos in places such as Bang Kwai a few miles towards Hua Hin but now it is school holidays and Cha am is reasonably busy and also there is the Asean Summit starting next week so everywhere will be fully booked. 700 Baht will normally get a nice clean modern hotel room with T.V and air con but nothing special. You may wanna check out The Beach Garden, not sure of prices though

I have just read there will be 18000 security gaurds deployed in Hua Hin during the 12th to the 27th of October. I should imagine a lot of these people will be staying in Cha am too.

Not sure if this area appeals to me now for a relaxed week out :)
